Judgement: Two Pensive Questions

Amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.
Amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates.

Candidate A:
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He’s had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 Martinis a day.

Candidate B:
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C:
He is a decorated war hero. He’s a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never committed adultery.

Which of these candidates would be our choice?

Decide first… No peeking, then scroll down for the response.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Candidate B is Winston Churchill.
Candidate C is Adolf Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question:
If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.

Pretty interesting isn’t it?
Makes a person think before judging someone.

  1. Q1 Do you mean recommend an abortion of actually force one?

Q2 Do you mean a world LEADER (someone who has demonstrated the qualities of leadership) or a world RULER (someone who claims the legal right to use violence and coercion to achieve their goals)?

Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and Adolf Hitler were all rulers because they all used coercion and violence to achieve their goals.

Here’s some questions for you 🙂

    1. Do people have the right to initiate force against other people? (assault, rape, murder, theft, kidnapping, torture etc)

    2. Can you grant other people rights which you do not have yourself?

    3. Assuming the answers to questions 1 and 2 are “no” who exactly grants ‘government’ the the right to initiate force against other people?

    1. Thank you for your comment 🙂

      1. I personally condemn abortion, though believe in euthanasia.
      2. If you’re a transformational leader with good qualities, you won’t use any sort of violence and coercion to achieve any goal.

Do you mean you are willing to use force against a woman (or her doctors) to prevent her from having an abortion?

Would you ever vote for a third party (such as a government) to use force against her on your behalf (as your elected representative)?

“…. 2. If you’re a transformational leader with good qualities, you won’t use any sort of violence and coercion to achieve any goal….”

All governments depend on the use of violence and coercion to achieve their aims.

A government is defined as: a group who claim the right to use coercion and violence to achieve their aims.
